Newcomers' Club London
The London Newcomers' Club is a social club to help connect women in London, Ontario, Canada. Membership is open to women who have recently moved to the London area (within the last three years) or women who have been recently separated, divorced or widowed (within the last three years)
The club has a number of activities that cover a wide range of interests; you are invited to participate in those activities that appeal to you. Remember that each person's skill level is different and you do not have to be expert at anything in order to participate - just join in for fun and friendship. Activities normally run from September 1 to June 30 of each year.
We have scheduled our next “get-acquainted” information meetings at Westmount Public Library (Ferraro Room B) at 3200 Wonderland Road South.
These meetings will always be on a Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM – September 22, October 20, November 17, January 26, and March 15.
Come out and hear about the club!
There are Newcomers' clubs all across Canada and you may want to consider checking the National web site should you be thinking of moving to see if there is a club in your proposed new area. Each club has different by-laws governing its members.
The National Council of Newcomers' Clubs meets once a year to hold its Annual General Meeting or AGM.
All Newcomers' club members (including Alumnae) are welcome to attend the National AGMs and hold executive positions. For more information, check out their web site.
